Alright , this is really an impromptu visit and it was uncommonly quiet at Izy on a thursday night.
Omakase at Izy consisting of :-
Cold appetiser which is made of soft beancurd , topped with sweet salmon roes and wasabi.
Slight seared Kinmedai. Look at that thickness ! look at that pinky fresh colour ! how attractive !
3. COOKED DISH
Konkatsu fried pork with sweet bbq dipping sauce. Alright, tasty and filling. nothing to rant about.
4. SUSHI PLATTER
Flounder white fish, marinated tuna, pinky fresh chutoro. Fresh, decent , i would say its average taste rating.
Omg finally something interesting and i love this ! Foie gras so creamy and fresh . Sweet sticky gravy topped , soft served warm steamed eggs. YUMMY !
6. MINI DON
JUICYYYYYYY . Fresh red meat sea urchins, sweet popping ikura roes . i like the ikura roes as its non-gluey and its watery at every bites in my mouth .
7. WARM UDON
Comfort and warmth is the only two words i would like to describe here. And i especially love the flat noodles served here !
Evenly fried tempura, consisting of shiitake mushrooms, eggplant and long beans. Common and as usual , but the soup and taste of every strand of noodle, got me very filling at the end of this meal. Satisfying .
i kind of can’t understand this combination. Vanilla ice cream and warm fried sweet potato ? Anyway , I finished the vanilla ice cream, but not the sweet potato, with a pretty much filled tummy.
FOOD : Honestly nothing amazing , just pretty usual japanese food and i think it is quite over priced at here locally.
SERVICE : Friendly service waiters and bartenders.
AMBIENCE : Bar counter seatings, good for drinking chill outs .
